JOURNEY TO THE UNDERWORLD LONDON

JOURNEY TO THE UNDERWORLD LONDON

Journey to the Underworld was the first Funicular Productions immersive experience I went to. As an immersive experience lover, I have this itch to attend all of them and Journey to the Underworld had great reviews. Also, I had peeked the menu in their website and it looked amazing. And they are able to cater for vegans!

I arrived to Pedley Street Station in Hackney where the experience was to take place and was greeted by a rather zombie-like man in the ticket office who gave us the ticket so that we could shortly board the train. His assistant monsters took our coats and bags.

Looking to take many gorgeous pictures in London in little time? Then definitely hit up Elizabeth Street in Belgravia by Victoria Station, London’s most instagrammable street!

So what makes Elizabeth Street in Belgravia the most instagrammable street in London? Well, it might have started with patisserie Peggy Porschen making cute cakes and cupcakes as well as calling everyone’s attention with it’s pinkness and floral displays. Many other stores followed making this Belgravia street the go-to one for London’s influencers and Instagrammers.

So here’s the run down of the most insta-worthy places on Belgravia’s Elizabeth Street.

Note: most of my outfits featured in this post can be found in my 21buttons account.

Dominique Ansel Bakery

This bakery in Belgravia is responsible for inventing the Cronut and is on this list because of its seasonally changing flower arch and flower terrace. It also does innovative afternoon teas that are so incredibly instagrammable. Book an afternoon tea, or pop in for a take away item, everything they do is extremely instagrammable!

PRINTSFIELD PERSONALISED SOCKS

Printsfield reached out to me about collaborating with them. I quickly checked what they do, they basically do personalised socks. It could either be socks with your face on them, socks with your pet face on them, socks with your boyfriend’s face on them, socks with your son’s face on them, basically personalised socks with faces and cool backgrounds to with them. The background for the personalised socks could be food, or valentines day patterns, or even funny stuff like a cosmic background or emojis.

If you follow me on instagram you probably know I’m absolutely obsessed with my cat Shanti and therefore I needed to get socks with my cat’s face in them. And that’s what I ordered! And here’s the result:

Printsfield personalised socks with your cat’s face in them!

Obviously, Shanti is thrilled with my cheeky personalised socks order and I’m so happy with these customi socks! They are good quality and mostly I think they are the perfect gift. I always have no clue what to give some people as gifts and can think about so many loved ones that would enjoy these as a gift! For instance, my sister would love a pair of personalised socks with her dog’s face on them and I’m sure my mom wouldn’t mind one with my or my sister’s face on them either. There are also personalised socks with Christmas motives so I might get those for Christmas to those back home. It’s such a funny gift as well and also a really thoughtful one if you know that someone is really obsessed with their pet or even with some type of food, as there are personalised socks with food items. It’s kind of bizarre funny don’t you think?

You can get these socks from printsfield.com and you can get 20% off with TRAVELWITHPAU20. And they have worldwide shipping!

BEST OF THE WEST BANK TOUR
Best of the West Bank Tour: Church of Nativity Betlehem

When in Jerusalem, I took the Best of the West Bank Tour from Abraham Tours. Bethlehem isn’t far from Jerusalem and this tour was a way to see it without the hassle of planning it independently we decided to just go for it.

What I got out of the Best of the West Bank Tour was a lot more than I expected: I got a much better picture of the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Our tour guide Kamal was actually a Christian Palestinian, more specifically, Greek Orthodox and Palestine. So he had first hand knowledge of the situation itself and sprinkled examples across the tour.

The Best of the West Bank Tour kicked off from Abraham Hostel in Jerusalem at 7.30AM.
